22-May-2008 was a sad day. When I woke up morning, I saw the message “Operating System Not found” on the screen of my newly bought HP Pavilion Laptop DV6704TU. I bought on 8-May (8-5-2008). At night, I left my system running a simple perl program but need to run more than thousand files. The program is already run on Dell system ( in Lab) .
Then I thought it was a small problem. I tried f11 to boot from system. Not successful. I tried more than 3-4 times. Then I tried to boot from Recovery DVD. After 2-3 times, I even tried to choose the option which will going to format. With that option, it showed the error message is “0400x????” That is also not succeeded.
I went down to (hostel) mess to have food. The morning session will be closed after 9 AM. While having breakfast, then I tried again and again to recover. After that, I realized to send to HP center.
On 23-08-2008, I gave to HP center in Dega Tower, Somajiguda. They replaced with a new harddisk on 27-5-2008.
I really trusted HP. That’s why I chose to buy only HP. But I lost nearly 2-3 weeks for nothing.
My sadness was not over yet on 22-5-2008. I am easy to cry. But til that afternoon, I didn’t cry yet. Around 2 o’clock, I got an email to come back on June. After seeing letter, I cried. I wanted to give up everything I am trying for 5 years.
But after 2 days, I am back to normal
and don’t want to give up easily.
My supervisor encouraged me in this way :
Life is full of ups and downs and unexpected turn of events. You should not give up so easily. You should develop a strong mind and face the problems and challenges in life with boldness and confidence.

It was my supervisor who urged me to use LaTex. He urged me whenever he saw I used microsoft office. He told me what is good in LaTex. After all, I like latex so much. I prepare both my thesis and presentations with LaTex. It is a programmable word processing system. You can find a lot of lessons about Latex easily on web
In Miktex, it has two options basic and complete. I choose “complete” to download. After that, 1) double click “setup*.exe”, 2) chose through Internet. 3) set up proxy 4) choose a mirror for downloading the whole package. After that, 1) click again “setup*.exe”, 2) install from local folder 3) it knows where the download folder is. 4) wait till if finish installation
TeXnicCenter is free text editor. The first time you open it, the configuration wizard will appear. It will ask you where the Miktex distribution is . Eg. This is where My miktex location is. [C:\Miktex 2.7\miktex\bin]
Formatting fat32 in Microsoft window is limited to 32GB partition size. If the size is more than that, it will fail at the end. This program (fat32format) helps you in formatting hard drive in fat32 in a second.

I like to draw. I should say I like to scrach here and there. If you look at my drawing skills, it is not more than 2-3 years old child’s. As computer science student, we don’t write much on paper. So my correction pen was dry and couldn’t used. I tried the ink out. After that, I drew on the file, on the bag. 
I looked at the design on the blouse which my sister sent to me.
I requested my friend, Ja to take photo.
