Normally, it takes 24 hrs ride by train to reach Kharagpur from hyderabad. As there was flooding around kolkota(calcutta), the train diverted those areas . So it took 10 hrs more to reach there. When we reached there, taxi was available. In order to save money, we took rickshaw to the campus. The meaning of rickshaw is only two-wheeled cart pull by person. In myanmar, we call it “side-car”. Actually it is 3-wheeled and paddled by person and charged 10 rupees.

I took rickshaw to and fro to the class despite organizer provided bus-shuttle. When bus came, I was always busy with something.

The campus is very different with outside world. It is so mordenized than outside world. Fortunately, I saw tuberose flower-bed near to our class.

On Thursday 26-6-2008, they provided a small trip to the river. I forget river’s name. We (professors and researchers) sat together on the sand bank and sung songs. I sung Myanmar song “Tint-Hla-Pey-Han”.
-
They said my voice is sweet . But myanmar always say my voice is like cat’s.
It was very enjoyable moment, singing, walking in the sand, walking on the stones, walking on the logs, walking in the water, the beautiful scene… everything was perfect. But I didn’t cross the river as I brought laptop along with me. You can imagine how difficult to walk on the logs, stones, swaying and thrilling all the times.
I forgot to take snapshot of stony road.
