OpenOffice
I bought HP Pavilion laptop which has vista builtin. But I need office software. I use free Office for writing letters, drawing some flowcharts, spreadsheet for some calculations. http://www.openoffice.org/. 
There are a few releases for Myanmar version too. http://my.openoffice.org/
For the other things such as Thesis writing, Paper preparation, and Presentation, I prepare in LaTex.
